“Joy” – Solar Plexus Chakra Mandala

“Joy” was the second piece (after “Healing” Heart Chakra Mandala) to present in the “Chakra Mandala Series” which began in September 2004.
This mandala was created with great excitement and well, joy!
Very magical in nature, the center seems to “breathe”, watch for it to appear alternately concave and convex. It became clear to me at this point that I was receiving help with these pieces. I did not consciously create this effect, and have not been able to reproduce it.
Some viewers have pointed out a genie on a flying carpet, bees, and angels…these are happy coincidences!
A pleasure to paint, this mandala has a French Vanilla background, it is one of the happiest mandalas and supports a joyful connection with the solar plexus chakra!
